Central Operations Building Maintenance and Small Project Services

As a branch within Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP), the Operations Infrastructure Branch (OIB) is mandated to operate and maintain provincially owned water management infrastructure. This RFP outlines the service requirements for the Central Operations Building Maintenance and Small Project Services. Several buildings/structures in our region require a series of remediation work to bring the buildings to a more current standard indicative of a government facility.

Maintenance and repair activities may include but are not limited to work in any or all of the following areas:

• Interior and exterior Wall repair/refinishing/installation. All types of products. (Dry wall, paint, wall paper, metal/vinyl siding, concrete, caulking, crack repair, insulation etc.)
• Roof repairs/enhancements (Shingles, Tar & gravel, membrane, steel, eaves trough, down spouts, etc.)
• Door/Window (Sealing, repair, replacement, locks, handles, repair replace blinds, etc.)
• Ceilings (Replace tiles, repair water damage, repair supporting structures, etc.)
• Floors/walkways. (E.g. Carpet, tile, paving stones, concrete. )
• Provide professional guidance and recommendations. Inspection reports.
• Provide project estimates and availability.
• Arrange all personnel and equipment necessary to complete any or all of the fore mentioned activities.

Note: Interested proponents can attend a project review prior to submitting their proposal. Any questions regarding the requirements set forth in this RFP can be answered then.

Proponent Meeting/Project review: May 23, 2017, 2:00pm at the Dickson Dam Administration Building. Please note the mailing address for proposal submissions is different than the site location. This project review meeting will be held at the Dam Site.
