1. The Kingdom of Cambodia has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of GMS Flood and Drought Risk Management and Mitigation Project. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders form eligible source countries of ADB who can prove their qualification as mentioned hereunder and in the Bidding Documents.
 The bidder should have participated as contractor, management contractor, or subcontractor in at least two (2) contracts within the last six (6) years that has been successfully or substantially completed and that are similar to the proposed works including at least one (1) contract for construction of new barrage and one for rehabilitation/ upgrading of a barrage, where the value of the Bidder’s participation exceeds US$ 8.2 Million or equivalent.
 The bidder should have an average annual construction turnover of US$ 13.7 Million or equivalent, calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last three (3) years.
2. The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction and completion of a new Barrage and appurtenant structures on Pursat River consisting of construction of new gated weir, motorized gates, upstream and downstream riparian works, canal head regulator, operation and control room, river training works, coffer dam, etc.
3. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
