Expression of Interest for Provision of GHP/GMP upgrading food safety handling (T3). Objective and Purpose of the Assignment : The services to be provided by the T3 Service Provider for Training and Advisory Services to Restaurants in GHP/ GMP and Food Safety are aimed at achieving Output 1: Strengthened Food Safety Surveillance, Handling and Inspection Programs; 1(c) Grading of Restaurants in Tourist Areas. The objectives of the T3 Service Provider Package are to assist the Viet Nam Food Authority (VFA) (i) in improving food safety handling in restaurants in the tourist Areas in two provinces (Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province and Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province), by promoting GHP and GMP, to attract more tourists to facilitate the growth of tourism, (ii) implementing the Restaurant Grading System based on Scorecards (iii) in training and assisting restaurants and catering establishments which complies with the minimum hygienic requirements (registered with the relevant provincial authorities), to upgrade food safety standards.
