Invitation to Tender e-Advertisement: Cone picking lodgepole pine orchards Closing Date: 31/05/2017 14:00 This contract is for the harvest of pine cones from three lodgepole pine orchards; Central Plateau Finlay #223 (CPF #223), Bulkley Valley #228 (BLK #228) and Willow Bowron #220 (WB #220). These orchards are located at the Prince George Tree Improvement Station (PGTIS) at 17000 Domano Boulevard, Prince George, BC. The site is located off the end of Domano Boulevard, 10 kilometers down the Domano Forest Service Road. (A site access map is attached.)Sealed tenders for cone picking lodgepole pine orchards at the Prince George Tree Improvement Station in Prince George will be received by the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, Tree Improvement Branch, 17000 Domano Boulevard, Prince George, BC, V2N5M2, no later than 2:00:00 pm local time, May 31, 2017. Tenders will be opened in private and total prices will not be made public until after the Contract is signed with the Successful Bidder.A mandatory site viewing is scheduled for May 10, 2017, leaving not later than 10:00:00 am from the Prince George Tree Improvement Station office located 9.5 km down the Domano Forest Service Road at 17000 Domano Boulevard, Prince George, BC, V2N5M2.Tenders must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender package. The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. This solicitation is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA), the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America on Government Procurement (CUSPA), and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA).If the Ministry posts any addendum to the Tender Documents it will be made by issuing an addendum:a) where Tender Documents were provided directly by the Ministry to bidders (not obtained from BC Bid(r)), addendum to the Tender Documents will be sent by the Ministry to all registered package holders; orb) where Tender Documents were obtained from BC Bid(r), the Ministry will post any addendum on BC Bid(r). Bidders are solely responsible to continually monitor the BC Bid(r) website on an ongoing basis to keep themselves informed of any addendum.Bidders that are not registered with BC Bid(r) can register by selecting Start your e-Service, Supplier Registration on the BC Bid(r) home page. Bidders are strongly encouraged to select "Send Me Amendments" as an option on the Opportunity Notice published on BC Bid(r). By selecting this option a registered Bidder will be automatically notified of any addenda that may be issued.
