Invitation for Bids

 Contract Title: Printing and Delivery of Textbooks for Grade1& 2 and Teachers Diary for 2018


1.          The Government of Mozambique, hasreceived financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Education Sector Support Project, and intends to apply part ofthe proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Printing and Delivery of Textbooks for Grade 1&2 and TeachersDiary for 2018 &nda sh;No FASE- 08/17/DAQUI/RFB/GO.

2.        The Ministry of Educat ion and Human Development now invites sealed bids from eligiblebidders for thePrinting and Delivery of Textbooks for G rade 1&2 and Teachers Diary for2018 divided over 5 lots and comprising of over 6, 125, 800 unitsof workbooks, teacher’s manuals and teachers dairies delivered to f our ports inMozambique.

3.         Bidders may bid for one or several contracts, as furtherdefined in the bidding document.  Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will beallowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.

4.         Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the WorldBank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &; Grants by Bank’sorld Bank Borrowers  of January 2011 and Revised July 2014 (“Procurement Guidelin and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.

Bidders may inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 9.00AM to 3.30 PM at the address given below.

6.         A complete set ofbidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a writtenapplication to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundabl e fee of USD 100.  The document will be sent byCourier.  The method of payment will be Bank Transfer in the following acc ount:
