GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

The People's Republic ofChina intends to apply for financing in the amount of US$200 million equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of theYichang Three Gorges Modern Logistics Center Infrastructure Project, and it intends toapply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under thisproject.
The project will include the following components: 1) Baiyang Logistics Park, includes (i) construction of sevenberths, including three container and four bulk cargo berths, (ii) supporting infrastructure, including cargo and container yards, and(iii) the purchase and installation equipment for cargo loading and unloading.; 2) Road Infrastructure Project, includes theconstruction of three logistics service areas, the purchase and installation of equipment, and utility and undergroundinfrastructure for the Park; 3) Baiyang Port Operating Area, includes: (i) an overpass road connecting Baiyang Port and theLogistics Park to Ziyun Railway's Shawan Marshalling Yard;(ii) surrounding roads and underground utilities (power, water, drainage, etc.), including Guihu Road and Songgang Second Road; and (iii) traffic signals, intersection channelization, and other trafficmanagement facilities;4) Three Gorges Modern Logistics Center, includes: (i) computer hardware and equipment purchase andinstallation in the information center; (ii) an information platform; and (iii) a business application system;5) Enhancement ofproject management and institutional capacity, includes consulting services in support of technical assistance (TA)activities.
Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the WorldBank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works, and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDACredits& Grants by World Bank Borrowers, issued January 2011 and revised July2014 and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World BankBorrowers, issued January 2011 and revised July 2014.
